Parking Ban Saturday 6 p.m. to Sunday 6 p.m.
To allow for snow removal and ice treatments to be applied to the surface parking areas the following parking ban will be in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday through 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13-14.
Please plan to allow for extra travel time while driving safely and slowly.
- All staff, students and contractors arriving on the main campus during this time period are required to park in the covered levels of Garages 1, 2 or 3, and must not park in the surface parking lots, along the roadways or at the loading docks. If you arrive prior to the parking ban, although you are not required to it is appreciated if you are able to safely move your vehicle into one of the garages.
- The rooftop of Garage 2 will be open for patients and emergency vehicles only.
- The rooftops of Garage 1 and Garage 3 will be closed.
- Reminder, it is never permissible for employees to park in patient lots.
- All staff, students and contractors arriving on campus after the ban has been lifted must use their normal parking areas.
- Vehicles in violation of these regulations will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
Thank you and stay safe!

In the unlikely event that the service of UConn Health’s Operational Status Hotline is disrupted, the backup number is 860-486-9292.
For Employees
This Closing and Cancellation page will advise employees of UConn Health’s operational status based on the service unit designation. Additionally, whenever possible, this information is also shared via UConnALERT, which defaults to sending a message to your work email, then also sends text notifications to those who’ve opted in to receiving text alerts. Registering your personal cell phone number greatly increases the likelihood you will see these (and any other) time-sensitive communications right away.
