Inpatient Palliative Care Consultation Services
For patients at John Dempsey Hospital, palliative care is provided by specialists certified in palliative medicine, including doctors, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, chaplains, and others. Our approach is collaborative, with patients and families at the center of our care team. We work with a patient’s other healthcare providers to offer an extra layer of support and care coordination.

- Improving physical symptoms
- Offering psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual support
