Laser surgery is a common and minimally invasive treatment for larger varicose veins that uses light energy to shrink and close the veins your doctor targets.

Also sometimes called pulsed light therapy, phototherapy uses intense pulses of light to generate heat and damage the walls of varicose veins. This form of therapy may require multiple sessions for optimal results.

Radiofrequency ablation uses heat to treat varicose veins. By closing off the veins, we divert blood to healthier veins and cause damaged and unsightly ones to fade away.
