The sonographer who performed my ultrasound responded to one of my concerns about the umbilical cord being near my baby's neck by saying that there was nothing that could be done about it before birth and that she could not see it. I was very disappointed with the experience. Since this was the last ultrasound of my pregnancy, and as a first-time mother, I expected my questions to be answered with courtesy, professionalism, and knowledge. Instead, I left feeling that my concerns were dismissed rather than properly addressed. In addition, she only provided me with blurry ultrasound images. I must admit that I have never received this kind of care from the staff in this department before.

Due to my experience at this appointment, I decided to switch all OB/GYN care to UConn health Center.
