The wait time to get this appointment was absolutely unacceptable. I had not seen my PCP in several years and was told I am a 'new patient' and that my PCP was not accepting 'new patients'. The visit I had was not even the physical I had requested It was some sort of onboarding that was patently unnecessary and a waste of my provider's money. I now have to wat 3 MORE months to get a physical making It a half year's wait to get a simple physical to asses my health. Meanwhile, the 'Generations Bus' pulls up to low Income areas and announces 'no wait times or referrals needed. Why do I have paid for healthcare again? Both the UCONN and Hartford Healthcare systems are like this. Coke vs. Pepsi choices while people wait for care.
