Dr.Tigadi was outstanding. I was seeking a second opinion from her and I am so appreciative of all the time she spent talking to me and making a plan during my visit. The only thing I have to say is- in the past I have had a medical student come in to interview me during one of my visits with my primary care provider. I wish I was given a heads up that I was going to be seeing a medical student first. I had a very poor experience not too long ago when I was not informed that a medical student would be coming into not only interview me but preform an exam. As a Uconn Alumni, this ended up being someone I did research with during undergrad. I would have preferred to be asked if I was comfortable seeing a student. I understand fully that uconn is a teaching hospital but a heads up would have been greatly appreciated. I was very caught off guard when a student walked in the room. I will commend the student as he was very respectful and asked great questions but would prefer a heads up going forward. Aside from this incident this office is outstanding and I look forward to my follow up

Dr Tigadi is one of the most compassionate, professional, understanding doctor I've met in many years. She sincerely cares about me and my health and goes the extra mile to make me feel better. She is not afraid to dig for information and a hard working specialist.
