The intake nurse/medical assistant should be retrained and/or replaced by a professional individual with a better attitude and respect for patients.

I have been a patient for about 8 years and at every annual exam I am always asked if I am comfortable with having a student or resident and I have always said no. At this visit I was not asked and a resident was sent in who is unknown to me and I am unknown to him. This made me very uncomfortable. When presenting for an annual exam it is so important that the provider be familiar with your history and this is not what happened.
