I appreciate having had a lot of time with a provider, a resident, and felt the examination was thorough, but also brutal. I understand that this is part of his training, but this report will serve no real purpose or help him develop empathy for the patient. His relentless badgering made me feel uncooperative. We clashed. The Dr was much more comforting and accepting of my limitations and stresses. She seemed willing to work WITH me rather than telling me what to do, she made it sound like a team.He made it sound more like a dictatorship- he needs training in the fragile psychology of body dysmorphia overweight patient have.
