The Neuromuscular Center
The Neuromuscular Center at UConn Health specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders that affect the peripheral nerves, muscles, or neuromuscular junction (where the neuron connects to the muscle). Using a comprehensive approach, our team of fellowship-trained physicians provides a full spectrum of diagnostic services, including nerve conduction studies with electromyography (EMG), peripheral nerve MRI, compressive laboratory, genetic testing, nerve, muscle, or skin biopsies, and referrals for physical therapy, orthotic devices, or other services if needed.
