Our surgeons are experienced in all areas of reconstructive surgery, including breast reconstruction, skin grafts to treat defects from the removal of a melanoma, facial bone restoration, and reconstruction from tumor removals in other parts of the body.
We also offer microvascular surgery, where tissue and blood vessels are transplanted from elsewhere in the body. The blood vessels are carefully rejoined to blood vessels at the reconstruction site with sutures that are thinner than a human hair. As a result of microvascular surgery, the transplanted tissue has a better blood supply than conventional reconstruction, leading to better healing and less scarring.
